The Times Union is proud to present 2016 Capital Region Gives and the Big $100,000 Give-Away. Through this special promotion, ten participating Capital Region nonprofit organizations will have the opportunity to compete for $10,000 in advertising from the Times Union.
The Times Union is hosting free informational sessions to discuss the Big $100,000 Give-Away. Two sessions are remaining: 11 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Sept. 21; and 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6. All will be held at the Times Union, located at 645 Albany Shaker Road in Colonie. To register, click here.
As part of the Capital Region Gives editorial project, area nonprofits will be the focus of a special editorial section which will appear in the Times Union on November 17, 2016. Through their advertising support, the corporate community will come together for the benefit of the many nonprofits that do so much to help those in need.
Any nonprofit that has an ad in the special section will be eligible to win a share of the $100,000 grant. Voting to determine which nonprofit will win the grant will be held on timesunion.com after the release of the Capital Region Gives editorial section on November 17, 2016.
