Scholarships Available for Capital Region Students!

The Community Foundation invites local students to visit its website to apply for a wide range of high school, college and professional continuing education scholarships. Application materials and guidelines for more than 40 scholarships are now available at www.cfgcr.org/scholarships.php.Students_work_on_robots_at_Cañada_College

Most scholarship applications are due in February or March, so don’t wait to apply. In 2015, the Community Foundation awarded $500,000 in scholarships to more than 150 local students.

In addition to scholarships for a wide variety of grade school, college and professional education programs, the Community Foundation also partners with organizations including the Niskayuna Community Foundation and the Bethlehem Central Community Foundation to provide scholarship opportunities for students in those communities. The Community Foundation also administers the Phyllis E. Dake “Make Your Own” Scholarship Fund for children of Stewart’s Shops employees.
