The C. Jordan Vail Spirit of Philanthropy Award is presented by the Community Foundation for the Greater Capital Region during our annual Celebration of Philanthropy in recognition of community members who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and extraordinary commitment to preserving and enhancing the quality of life in our region.
Linda Toohey is rooted in a family ethos of giving back to one’s community, and has committed much of her professional and personal life to serving the Saratoga region. Through her work, Linda has used her curiosity about her community to glean a clear understanding of the needs of our region’s nonprofit organizations.
A natural leader, Linda serves as a tireless advocate for her community. Coupled with her expertise in empowering and supporting community leaders, Linda has focused her philanthropy on investing in projects that help to build nonprofit organizational capacity and in programs to enrich our region.
